    Polyglot Japantown

    ByWayne Willis August 9, 2010January 25, 2018

California recently passed the point where Caucasians were a majority.  We are now only a plurality.   On walks in the park, you are likely to hear people pass, chattering with each other in langauges other than English.  Spanish, of course.  But frequently Chinese, Russian, undetermined Slavic-sounding languages and, around our neighborhood, Japanese.   Further…

    Segway Tour of SF

    ByWayne Willis July 18, 2010January 25, 2018

In the Summer of ’09, we all went on a Segway Tour of San Francisco … which I can heartily recommend.  We spent 30 or 40 minutes being thoroughly trained (it’s easy!) … and then we went out in the Fisherman’s wharf area … where cars are moving very slowly owing to the foot traffic….

    Thinking About Steph

    ByWayne Willis July 7, 2010January 25, 2018

Even though this is “brownfield” urban land, I’m amazed at the flowers…

Jill Bolte Taylor, Eckhard Tolle & Oprah

    ByWayne Willis June 13, 2010January 25, 2018

I just ported a page over I created last year on Willisdomain — one which reflects further steps on a spiritual journey. See http://www.waynegwillis.com/new-earth. I wanted to preserve it, as I still think it’s important.    I had to stick it on a separate “page” — it won’t fit in this column. Maybe I’ll have…

    Say Goodbye To Back Pain

    ByWayne Willis June 13, 2010January 25, 2018

I did my back exercises earlier today and I feel better already. I’ve struggled with lower back pain periodically for over 30 years — as do many tall, heavy men, especially those who get out of shape, have sedentary and/or stressful lifestyles.  Happily, though, I didn’t get surgery.  Instead I discovered a “program” which has…
