Life after Cyracom means fewer K-1s and more freedom. Debi and I split our time between Cabo and Bainbridge Island, and I’m diving into volunteer work with Citizens’ Climate Lobby and Yale, exploring AI, traveling, and getting louder about politics. Most importantly, more time with family. Life is good.
This hand-crafted purse reminded me of a leatherworking course my Mom, sister and I took when living in Elizabeth City, NC. I’m pretty sure we did it under the auspices of the US Navy, in the on-base “hobby shop” they provided to officers “and their dependents.”
Sofia Mae Willis was born on December 3, 2023, my fifth grandchild … another beautiful, healthy, smart girl. She comes from a long line of independent-minded, beautiful, and intelligent women, including her Mom and the women on her father’s side.
