Stevens Creek Open Space Preserve

When we lived in Los Altos, we’d drive up Foothill Boulevard to where it turned up into the mountains. There is a big dam there, creating a nice reservoir — Stevens Creek Reservoir — around which there are several trails and parks.  (map).   We loved to go hiking there … and we still do on Saturdays, when Mo accompanies us.

There are babbling streams, lots of birds and cool views from the ridgeline (see below) while you are hiking up and down the hills around the Resevoir.

"Come on, you guys ... catch up!"

It’s a real joy to be here, now.

  • A Fall Friday In SF

I had to go into San Francisco for several meetings, so I took Caltrain’s “Baby Bullet” in, happily using the 58 minute ride to type up my notes from the previous evening’s SVASE meeting.  (I’ll post those notes onto Nodal Partners when they are ready.) I walked over to South Park for coffee with David…
